What began as a personal challenge soon became a passion. Now he writes almost daily, between teaching (surviving) the next generation (he loves them really) and spending time with his wonderful daughter, Ella. His debut novel, Timebomb, grew from his fascination with the Second World War, time travel and one compelling question: what if someone from today had the chance to change history? The James Delphine series was inspired by his love of crime, mystery and detective thrillers. When not teaching or writing, Jonathan can be found in the park with Ella, at the gym, playing football (and fighting retirement), reading, watching films or developing ideas for his next story.

WHAT THE READERS SAY...

REVIEWS

PAUL HALEWOOD

It was amazing! It kept pulling me in different directions. The story has everything...WW2 actions, time travel, an evil villain, romance, sadness, and a wonderful ending.

DEBBIE RIGBY

A real page turner. The storyline drags you in from the very first chapter. I couldn't put it down. I found myself empathising with Jack in the decisions he was forced to make.

ANGELA HEWITT

The characters were great, and well written. I found it really gripping, especially towards the end. I loved it!

BEN CASSIDY

This was right up my street. I enjoyed reading it, and to be honest I got through it so much faster than I usually do with novels which means it must have gripped me!
